Desert Palms Church History
Desert Palms Church (DPC) traces its lineage to the year 1988 when a group of reformed believers began meeting at Anderson Elementary School in Chandler, Arizona. This church (South Valley, PCA) was particularized in October 1990, and met at Chandler Seventh Day Adventist Church. In the fall of 1994, they changed their name to Desert Palms Church, named a new pastor (Reverend Dave Bennett) and moved their place of worship to Bogle Junior High School in Chandler.
In August 2000 DPC purchased 10 acres of land, just south of Ocotillo Road in Chandler. Starting in 2002, we began the long process of creating our church campus which was finally completed in December of 2006.
Pastor Bennett resigned in 2005 and in 2006 DPC called the Reverend Kelley Hand.
With continued growth DPC added J.C. Baysinger to minister to youth and young families in 2013. In 2019, Pastor J.C. began a church plant in the Queen Creek area.
